Rally Behind the Government to deliver: Felix Kwakye Ofosu
Members and sympathizers of the ruling Party National Democratic Congress have been urged to rally behind the Prof. Mills led Government because he is poised and really on course to deliver on the party’s promise of a Better Ghana by Felix Kwakye Ofosu a youth activist of the party, regular representative of the party on the media landscape and also a leading member of the CJA.
He made these comments when he was addressing a meeting of the School of Catering Branch of the National Democratic Congress in Ayawaso East Constituency of the Greater Accra Region at the weekend, he urged members to have patience will the Prof. Mills Led Government for he is on course to deliver on the Better Ghana promise, he told them not to pay attention to the detractors of the Government, he touched on the difficulty Government was going through to secure credit lines for TOR to lift crude oil for it to be able to produce fuel for the country due to the mismanagement of TOR by the previous NPP Government. On the decision of Government’s plan to re-engage Vodafone on the sale of Ghana Telecom to them, he explain how the previous NPP Government handled certain parts of the negotiation led by the former president J.A Kufour. He also announced to the members on how the National Youth Employment Programme is being strengthened so that the youth would gain employment through the roll out of various modules under the programme, on the youth in agriculture programme he said 14,000 youth have being engaged in the rural areas and that by the quarter of next year Government aims to employ over 600,000 youth under the programme and that this could help solve the problem of migration most of the youth in the rural areas to the urban south.
He also encourage members to get involve in the grassroots activities of their various branches.
